Het aantal mensen met een werkloosheidsuitkering steeg in de Randstad in drie jaar tijd met negentig procent. Dat meldt het Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS) maandag.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Arial\">Buiten de Randstad was de stijging van het aantal WW-uitkeringen met 69 procent ook fors, maar minder sterk. In heel Nederland hadden eind juni vorig jaar 25 op elke duizend inwoners tussen de 15 en 65 jaar een werkloosheidsuitkering.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Arial\">Een mogelijke verklaring ligt in het feit dat in de Randstad relatief veel bedrijven failliet zijn gegaan sinds de kredietcrisis, aldus het CBS. Tussen 2008 en 2011 werd 57 procent van alle faillissementen uitgesproken bij bedrijven in de Randstad, terwijl nog niet de helft van alle bedrijven daar is gevestigd.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Arial\">Het aantal mensen in de Werkloosheidswet is buiten de Randstad echter nog wel relatief hoger. In de Randstad zitten ruim 23 op de duizend inwoners in de WW, buiten de Randstad zijn dat er 26.
