De verkoop van nieuwe auto&#8217;s in de Europese Unie daalde met 10,2 procent tot 1,3 miljoen exemplaren. In Nederland was de daling 31,4 procent. Dat meldt de Europese branchevereniging van autoproducenten ACEA woensdag.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>In de grootste markt, het Verenigd Koninkrijk, steeg de verkoop nog wel, met 5,9 procent. In totaal kochten de Britten 395 duizend nieuwe auto&#8217;s. In de tweede markt, Duitsland, daalde de verkopen zeventien procent tot 281 duizend. Frankrijk noteerde een min van zestien procent. In Itali\u00eb en Spanje daalde de verkopen met respectievelijk vijf en veertien procent.<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/>Volkswagen, de grootste autoproducent in de EU, wist zijn marktaandeel licht te verhogen van 23,4 procent naar 23,7 procent.
