Daarmee voldoet de stijging van het prijspeil voor het eerst in vier jaar aan de doelstelling van de Europese Centrale Bank (ECB), bleek donderdag uit een eerste schatting van Europees statistiekbureau Eurostat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">De inflatie zit sinds eind vorig jaar duidelijk in de lift, na drie jaar waarin de geldontwaarding onafgebroken beperkt bleef tot minder dan 1 procent. De oplopende inflatie komt voor een groot deel door het herstel van de olieprijs, die begin vorig jaar het dieptepunt bereikte van de lange daling die in de zomer van 2014 werd ingezet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Afgezien van de sterk wisselende prijzen van energie en voedingsmiddelen kwam de inflatie vorige maand uit op 0,9 procent.
